In todays AI influenced world there are so many image manipulating software packages available that you could literally create a picture of New York from an image captured on Sydney harbour Bridge.

I do use image editing software, obviously, digital images require it. But, i try to keep as true to the captured image as possible. If i don't get the light, or the sky, or the subject i want, or that i can enhance with the core photoshop or lightroom functions, then i wont add in false ones, no matter how convincing, then the failure goes in the bin and i go out and try again. Part of the joy for me is actually being there, capturing the subject or the mood. The going out without knowing, the chance encounter, the sheer pleasure of those 'Wow, i wasn't expecting that' moments.

Photography, like all forms of art and media, is subjective, that's the whole point. There will be those who visit my site who will either love it, hate it, or look at it with mild indifference. To all of you  would say one thing.... Thanks, for looking, and don't look down, look around!
